Is Stratton mk3 the most compact wall hung boiler cascade on the market?

For the most compact configuration on the market, cascade the Stratton Mk3 units in outputs of up to 70kW to achieve 270kW. Boilers with comparable outputs from other manufacturers are typically 530mm to 1620mm wide – this makes Stratton Mk3 wall-hung condensing boilers the most compact and space-saving solution by far!

Offering a compact solution for even the tightest of plant rooms, it's more than just the size of a Stratton Mk3 cascade system that sets it apart.  Installing a Stratton cascade offers several benefits over using one large boiler to try and heat a larger building.  For instance, whereas a single appliance trying to supply heat to a large area carries the risk of oversizing, which can result in excessive use of fuel and increased wear and tear, a Stratton Mk3 cascade system allows multiple boilers to work harmoniously together for an efficient and flexible solution.  Moreover, it provides added protection against breakdown.

This was an important consideration for Tucker Mechanical & Electrical Building Services when they were tasked with providing a charity with a reliable and space-saving system to replace the building's existing boiler that had been installed in the 1980s. 

To address the issue of space, two 70kW Stratton Mk3 boilers, with a total output of 140kW, were installed in cascade to provide the building with an alternative to its previous floor-standing model.  Following the upgrade, Hull & East Yorkshire Centre for the Deaf now benefits from a significantly reduced footprint.  Easy to service and clean, the charity can also expect to achieve valuable cost savings on future maintenance intervals.
