Wessex ModuMax mk3 boiler is Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Awards finalist
- Company news
Hamworthy’s compact Wessex ModuMax mk3 modular boiler has been shortlisted as a finalist in the category “Innovative Product of the Year”.
Organised by Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Magazine, the Wessex ModuMax mk3 boiler faced fierce competition, marking the high standards among manufacturers. Each application underwent a thorough review by an independent panel of judges from the industry.
The Wessex ModuMax mk3’s entry was submitted by Hevac, Hamworthy’s sales agent in Ireland. It is a compact modular boiler that can be flexibly stacked up to three modules high to accommodate different plant room layouts. At its core sits a stainless steel heat exchanger with a 10-year warranty for peace of mind.
Thanks to its space-saving design in combination with an output of up to 762kW in one stack, it is a popular choice for energy centres and traditional residential developments if installed in cascade arrangements. A differential temperature of up to 40°C allows flexible heating system design which can reduce energy consumption and cost particularly when it used in heat networks. Thanks to a maximum working pressure of up to 10 bar, it is also suitable for tall buildings. Owing to these benefits, it is the most popular boiler in Hamworthy’s range.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, 13th September 2019 at the Citywest Hotel Saggart Co in Dublin.
