Hamworthy has extended its range of the Stratton mk2 wall hung boiler, launched last year, by a new 146kW model.
The compact condensing wall hung boiler, previously ranging from 40 to 120kW, now offers greater scope for more demanding light commercial heating applications. When the boiler is operating in its most efficient condensing mode, the output rises up to 146kW. With a stainless steel heat exchanger backed by a 5-year warranty and up to 96% gross seasonal efficiency, the boiler offers long-term reliability with the opportunity to save on fuel costs. The low height of less than 2.2 metres to top of the flue header when mounted on a low height pipe kit, enables it to fit into the smallest spaces, ideal for low height or restricted space plant rooms.
Edd Swift, Product Manager at Hamworthy Heating, comments
“Following the launch of the Stratton mk2 wall hung boiler range last year and listening to our customers’ requirements, we’ve decided to launch the 146kW model. Even in light commercial heating environments, there is a wide range of applications and heating demand, which we now will be able to cover better thanks to the launch of a higher output wall hung boiler model.”
The Stratton mk2 wall hung boiler is also touring the country as part of the Stainless Family Tour, showcasing Hamworthy’s range of stainless steel boilers and calorifier. In a dedicated training vehicle with real products and lots of useful information on efficient heating and hot water system design, customers can get hands-on experience on their doorstep.
