Hamworthy Stainless Family Tour crosses the Irish Sea

Hamworthy’s roadshow van made its rounds in the southern parts of the UK, starting the tour with sales manager Dave Moulsdale in late June, making it all the way to the South West: Camborne in Cornwall. Trevor Struck then took over and visited customers in Hamworthy’s neighbourhood and other areas in the South.

The roadshow van then got the first feel of the ‘big city’ with sales managers Tony Moore, Paul Mickleburgh, Ian McGregor, and Robert Kirk in the Greater London area and central London. From here, the van then also reached its most south eastern point in England: Margate.

After seeing over 300 customers on the mainland, National Sales Manager Stuart Turner took the van to the Irish sea – on a ferry from Holyhead to Dublin. A few customers seized the chance not only to see the products but also invest in a free CIBSE-accredited seminar. The visit in Dublin was combined with a CPD session at the Sandymount hotel. Later that week, customers from Ireland were also the first to experience Hamworthy’s new CIBSE-accredited CPD seminar “New Boilers on Old Heating Systems: Hydraulic Design – A Story of Separation”.

After the return from Ireland, the Stainless Family Tour Van has now made its way to the Midlands. Sales manager Jonathan Fisher’s customer Matthew Biggs, Mechanical Design Engineer at Derry Building Services in Newark commented 
“Bringing the roadshow van and seeing a selection of the range of products helped spark some interesting questions and discussions.” 
Julie Moore is currently seeing customers in the East Midlands including Birmingham with Technical Sales Agent Shaun Lewis-Wilkes from Cambria Modular Solutions continuing the tour in the North West of the UK from next week, 30th October 2017.

The tour will run until the end of the year when it will be visiting customers with support from Sales Agent McDowall Modular Services in Scotland.
