Hamworthy Heating, experts in commercial heating and hot water, has launched an on-demand CIBSE-accredited CPD course with the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA).
As an active supporter and long term affiliate member of BESA, Hamworthy was delighted to be involved in their latest venture to support engineers – the BESA Academy. The BESA Academy is an online learning platform for the building engineering services sector. It allows individuals to develop their skills, further their career and puts them in the driving seat of their success. The Academy offers a range of free online accredited CPD, online regulatory courses, short courses and their Experienced Worker Programme.
The Hamworthy CIBSE-accredited CPD seminar that has been added to the academy is titled ‘New boilers on old systems – hydraulic separation’ and is one of Hamworthy’s most popular courses. The course has voiceover from Hamworthy’s technical sales manager Barrie Welsh and quick check questions to test your knowledge throughout.
Sam Boshier, Marketing Manager at Hamworthy Heating commented,
“We’ve seen high demand for our CIBSE-accredited CPD courses this year and we are now delivering these online via Microsoft Teams. This new on-demand version will complement our existing CPD offer. We all learn in different ways, so with this course being available instantly you can watch it at a time that suits you best - morning, noon or night!”
With the BESA Academy you can setup your own profile and track your learning journey. Once completed you’ll be able to download your own certificate for your records.
“Partnerships with manufacturers like Hamworthy are extremely important for the development of the Academy,”
said BESA’s director of training and skills Helen Yeulet.
“They give our learners access to some of the top technical experts in specific fields from the comfort of their own homes or workplaces.
“We are very grateful to Hamworthy and our other industry partners for helping us grow our content so we can cover all the different building services disciplines.”
